Dance Passion will be revealing its brand new timetable for September very soon. Classes include:
Latin Pop-This is a class especially for kids who love to dance! We will be creating some show routines to todays favourite pop tunes. You will get to try some lindy hop, jive and many more styles! Contact us for more details and to book your place!
Latin Fit-This is our lively fitness based class aimed at those who want to get fit and loose those excess pounds. You will experience the sexy salsa, cheeky cha cha and jazzy jive! This is a high intensity class. You can burn up to 700 calories during this class. Please wear fitness or gym clothing to this class.
Latin and Ballroom- Do you fancey yourself as a Vincent or Flavia? Then this is the class for you! We will teach you to glide around the floor spin around with your partner. This is a great social class with regular social dances, theatre trips and other outings!
Competition and Exam Private Lessons- Do you or your child fancy taking part in competitions and winning yourself a trophy? If so these classes are for you!Classes are for a minimum of 2 pupils.All competitions are in the UK. Option to travel abroad.

This new class has caused a stir! A new style of fitness class has arrived at Dance Passion. Covering some of your favourite latin dances Salsa, cha and Jive! This is a high intensity class and is not for the faint hearted. Why dont you come and give it a try and and loose weight whilst having fun?!

In all our classes we encourage you to dance with different partners throughout the night, which makes the night very sociable and gives you the chance to meet lots of new people, as well as being great fun. Latin Fever 3

Due to popular demand Latin Fever 3 had to be held at a larger venue. The Kirkby Suite was such an ideal choice. There were 250 in attendance and each ticket that was sold, guaranteed each guest an allocated seat, to which they would be sure of an excellent view, of the very talented singers and dancers who were to entertain them later on in the evening. The latin music filled the room as Robert showed each guest to their seats. Dimly lit by the flickering lights that filled the beautiful glass centre pieces on the white clothed circular tables, gave the room the atmosphere it deserved. Many of the guests were students, from Clare’s various dance classes, such a golden opportunity to practice and demonstrates their newly acquired routines. The Rumba Cha Cha Cha and Jive were very well displayed, putting the highly polished dance floor to very good use !!
This year’s guest were treated to a Hot Pot supper and a selection of sandwiches and salad , for guests who preferred a vegetarian dish. After this they were invited , by the excellent compare, Brian Dodd, to sit back relax and enjoy the evening’s show of talented singers and dancers.
The show was opened by the very talented Zodiac Roadshow, who gave a wonderful dance performance of Sing Sing Sing and Magalena from the films Swing Kids and Dance With Me . Both dances were choreographed by Clare Roberts. Guests were also entertained with songs from Emma French and Linzi Pallin, a standing ovation was given to the very talented Rachel Russel after her rendition of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelluja. The entertainment was completed with Clare and Steven’s fluid movements of all five latin dances.
Once again the whole purpose of the evening was to raise funds for a very worthy cause, which this year was The Marie Curie Hospice and of course to celebrate Latin American dancing at it’s very best !!!
Special thanks, of course, go to all the local firms who donated such wonderful prizes for our charity raffle.
Money raised £3,000.

Dance Passion teach the Juice FM breakfast team how to dance!

On Tuesday 27th January Dance Passion had the pleasure of the presenters from Juice FM. Leanne, Adam and Chris came along to our dance class at Notre Dame Catholic College for the Arts as part of their series called ‘Time of the Month’.
Dancing comes naturally to Leanne; so doing the salsa was not a problem! That could not be said for Chris and Adam. However after a few shorts lessons the pair kept up with the rest of the class.
Dressed in tightly fitted black sequined shirts they mastered the steps along side their partners, dance students, Jessica and Ashley. As a result of this memorable evening, I am sure Leanne will continue to be one of our regular students at our weekly classes. Hopefully with the help of Leanne’s enthusiasm, Chris and Adam will once again take to the floor.
